Located close by to the Tokyo Toy Museum, the fire museum is another great attraction for kids in Tokyo. The museum has six floors. You can try on some of the old uniforms and kids can play on the fire trucks – plenty of great photo opportunities!

Admission is free to the museum.

Getting there

Take the Marunouchi line (red) to Yotsuya san-chome station. Leave the station via exit number 2, where it is a 7 minute walk to the museum.


Open from 9:30 – 17:00. Closed every Monday, except for public holidays. On public holidays the museum will be closed the follow day. It is also closed for New Year holiday from December 28 to January 4.
