Rainbow Bridge links Odaiba from the main metropolis of Tokyo. The Rainbow Bridge is somewhat of an engineering feat. It was designed to allow ships to safely pass under the bridge, but as it is close to Haneda domestic airport it could not be built over a certain height to allow for safe airline paths. It is a two storey bridge, with a regular road and mono-rail on one level and an express highway on another level.
It is possible to walk over the bridge during the day from Shibaura to Odaiba - a total of 918 meters. Unfortunately bicycles cannot be taken on the bridge. Best of all entrance is free and you can see some great views of Tokyo and Odaiba!
