The parade is on this Sunday, October 30th starting from noon at Hibiya Park, Ginza. It is a great chance to see mikoshi traditional dance and music.

I headed out to Chiba yesterday to check out the opening of this years Motor Show. It wasn’t as crowded as I expected. It runs until November 6th.
The 39th Tokyo Motor Show opens this Friday (from Saturday for the general public). Admission is 1200 yen for adults, or 1000 yen if you buy it in advance. I plan to go this Saturday or Sunday and will post pictures of the event.
There was an earthquake in Tokyo, Sunday which measured 5.1 on the Richter scale. I was walking around at the time and didn’t feel it at all.

If you are looking for something different for a place to have dinner, you might like to try a dinner cruise around Tokyo Bay. I went on the Royal Wing a few years ago and had a Chinese meal.
