    Hi,

My husband surprised me with a spa package from Zaboo yesterday, and let me tell you that this place, although right next to Roppongi Hills, is not for foreigners. It was such a terrible disaster for me.
He had booked me a massage, facial, and a foot massage for me as a surprise. He had his Japanese teacher help with the reservation. He was told that they had staff there who speak english.

Well, the trouble started when we went in, and the lady behind the counter insisted that He had to pay for a membership for himself even though he was not going into the spa. Apparently you have to pay the membership fee just to stand in the lobby while your wife signs the register.

Well, there is not enough room here to tell the whole story, but I never got my spa treatments, and I went into the onsen for a while, but I only did that because I had been to onsen before and knew all the procedures to follow.

However it was very uncomfortable there, being to only gaijin in the place and alone. There was no direction or instruction as to where to go or what to do in this 5-story building. So I would not recommend this place for anyone who does not know fluent Japanese, unless possibly if you are with a group of people. Also, you cannot go here if you have any tattoo on your body, which I’m sure rules out many gaijin from going.
