As Tokyo swelters in the summer months, there is nothing Tokyoites enjoy more than visiting a beer garden. Several department stores and hotels throughtout Tokyo set up shop on their roof throught the summer months. They can sometimes get very lively with salarymen and "OLs" having a drink after work.
Located in Hiroo, Hanezawa Garden is an oasis in the concrete jungle of Tokyo. Unlike most beer gardens they actually have the garden part. The Japanese garden features a carp pond and Japanese lanterns.
